This was a fun design exercise for official “Friends of the Farm,” monochrom, and their upcoming film project, Sierra Zulu. Just a quick mockup for what will possibly be an actual printed poster at some point and it will likely change considerably by then, but it’s a fun formula to experiment with.

Scrabble is releasing a special limited edition aimed at fans of type that’s likely going to be an object of desire among designers. Now available for pre-order, the “Scrabble Typography” limited edition comes with “a beautiful storage case with a drawer, a matching six-panel magnetized gameboard as well as tiles that carry different and exciting fonts—all of which are made of solid walnut.” Yes, it’s very, very expensive for a board game…but boy is it pretty.

It’s long overdue, but I’m pleased as punch to finally take the wrapper off an updated site design for Tokyo Farm. The dust is still settling (and some more will likely get kicked up), but please come on in and poke around. And don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you find a corner of the Farm that needs some attention. Somewhere between relocating the chicken coop and tearing down the old barn, something is bound to been missed!
